Sure love this girl!

Thought this was so cute, Livy chilling with her Dad, loved the arm around his neck.

Olivia is my style queen, she loves lots of patterns and colors and of course her black boots. She usually doesn't like what I pick out, sometimes she will wear it but add 5 accessories. We took the girls to Olive Garden the other day, talked Livy into getting the Fett Alfredo instead of Mac-n-cheese, the waiter asked how hers was and she said "it was terrible". The waiter was laughing so hard.

Her latest saying is "oh tarter sauce", we don't know where she got that one. The other day I heard Livy telling her best friend that "Aunt Michelle pops her fingers and they don't even break".

Anna's school paper

Anna brought this paper home last week:

If I were magic I would be rich and have my one house. I could splash as much as I want in the bath. I wish I had a warm pool well a inside pool and a ginormise crazy slide. I wish I had a roller coaster in my house. I wish my best friend was my sister. I wish I had my own pugg.

Love the bath comment, perhaps all she hears is "stop splashing" from her mother.

Sad News

We have had such a sad, sad week. Last Wednesday our friend Jeff committed suicide. He is Marc Smith's brother. It still doesn't seem real. He was early 50's with a wife and 2 kids (16 and 19). It was mostly over finances which hopefully will be a great learning experience for so many of us that are so poor right now. Makes me realize as long as our family is together and healthy the rest of the stuff just doesn't matter. If anything good can come out of this tragedy it would be to save someone else from doing anything drastic because of money and pride. Makes me think maybe we are all focusing on the wrong things (material things). The part I loved at Jeff's funeral was when they invited friends and family to stand up and tell memories of him. Many people told funny, happy stories, what a great way to remember him.

Needless to say I am grateful today for my husband whom I love and who drives me crazy at times, for Anna and the way she makes me laugh by making faces or telling me jokes and Olivia who keeps life interesting.

Ear Piercing

Anna got her ears pierced Sunday, April 5th. She is holding her best friend Shay's hand, Shay got her ears pierced just before Anna.

Before we left to get Anna's ears pierced I asked Olivia if she wanted to get hers done, I told her it does hurt for awhile. She said she wanted to wait until she was 17. Well after Olivia watched Anna and Shay get theirs done and neither of them cried, Olivia wanted it done. I think she was in shock. Two days later and all is good, they sleep good, no infections...and they look freaking darling.
