Anna for president

Anna brought this home from school:


If I were President...I would help the country. I would make the counry a better place. First let workers and kids sleep in and still go to school. They need more sleep. They do not fall asleep in class or work. Next give money to the poor. They can get a home and food. Then many people would not be poor anymore. Last give more money to farmers. They can buy more seeds to plant them. Then so we can show they we appreciate them. Those are some reasons how I can change my country. Maybe you can use some of those things!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Livy will not let me pick out her clothes ever. Today she was extra excited to wear green, she entertains me daily. Anna is also getting very particular about what she wears, evidently any socks work....

Marathon

Ok, I hate putting this in writing just in case I don't succeed, but here it goes "I am going to run the Park City Marathon, August 21, 2010". I was always so proud of my Dad and especially my Mom for completing a marathon. Many of my siblings and their spouses have done it (Gary, Val, Byron, Marali and Jane), I think Gary said it was hell! I feel anxious and excited, I ran 5 miles today haven't run this far in about 24 years, must have been 2 when I did that run. I keep telling myself muscle weighs more than fat right, my muscles must be huge because I can barely zip up most of my pants.
I turn 45 this summer and I want to be more fit and healthy than I was when I was 20!!!

We went tubing in Heber, sticky wet snow, it was a workout for me and Tony. At the top of the hill we would put the girls tubes in front of ours and both run and jump on to try and get some speed. Tony was coaching me telling me to act like it was for bobsledding. Fun day as a family, very ready for spring.
