Annual Feb. California trip

Memorable moments with my family in California.

-Watching my sister Christine at her garage sale, giving many things away and hearing her tell a neighbor "take this toy for your grandson he always played with it when he would come over".
-Watching my sister-in-law Leslie playing with the kids and buying Baskin Robins for all of them (I become a bit stingy when it comes to giving kids Baskin Robins, they seem just as happy with cheap ice-cream).
-Sitting at Marali and Kevin's new home and being served. Just watching olympics with my parents and Marali feeding us constantly. Their home has such a peace about it, love being there.
-Watching my father play with grandkids, how can he never tire of this.
-Watching my girls play endlessly with their cousins, unaware their mother exists.
-Realize my brother Jake and I sleep the same and are having the same back problems, he cured me telling me some tricks.
-Watching Alli cheer for her son in volleyball, never seen a more proud mom.
-Being so proud of my sister (Christine) while taking her advanced yoga class, best I have ever taken, sore for 3 days.
-Riding beach cruisers to downtown Huntington with Jane and Alli, having a beer (root of course) and giggling the whole way back with Jane just watching Alli as she rings her bell at everyone we passed.
-Watching Coleman as a father, always knew he would be incredible (love how he loves little Lawrence).
-Watching my girls play in the waves, wishing Tony were there to enjoy.
-Love that my Mom told me she looked up at me while we were sitting on the couch and for a split second she thought she was looking in the mirror.

Fun Sundays as a family

Love skiing with my family, especially when I drop my cell phone off the lift so Tony skis down to get it while I ski with Livy. She continued to tell me how I am not a good teacher and wasn't doing anything right. Oh some days I would just love to yell "do you know how much freaking money it costs to take kids skiing???, I could be in a first rate spa relaxing out of the snow".... Oh motherhood the joys.

Cole's Play

Michelle's son Cole was in the play 7 Brides for 7 Brothers, he was so good. Strange to see a Gibb on stage, a bit out of our element. Tony got all his hair cut off....yahoo, I've got a new man.

Told Livy she had to change out of this ugly shirt to go to the play, after a big fight which I usually don't push, she came down in this halter shirt. At that point it wasn't worth fighting about and taught me a lesson not to tell Livy what to wear. I think it was very appropriate for 20 degree weather.
