I love Anna's freckles, she is such a joy in my life.
We rode in the back of the truck to get to our car,
first time for the girls, they were in heaven.

It is a beautiful day today, the snow is coming down and I am inside, it looks so Christmasy. I have felt more of the Christmas spirit this year than ever. I think not having much money this year has been such a good thing, I feel like my girls are getting more involved in our gifts. We have been trying to make most of our gifts, which is challenging because I am not the most crafty person. Anna and Livy are so excited for Tony's family in England to open their homemade presents.
We cut down our own Christmas tree this year, we drove about 2 hours and hiked through the snow. We went with our good friends Marc and Cec Smith, with their two kids Ryan and Shay. As you can see the tree looks smaller in the forest, it is almost touching our ceiling. Livy kept climbing up the ladder without us looking, scared us to death. Notice Livy had to wear her fancy Christmas dress to decorate the tree.
We are having our first Christmas without any extended family this year, it has been 5 years since that happened (before Livy was born). I am looking forward to it, although I love having big crowded Christmas' too.

My gosh that tree is huge! I love it! It is so cute how Livy is all dressed up to decorate the tree. I love Annas freckles too. Too cute!
So much fun!! I feel like we are missing Christmas for some reason. I guess just not being home maybe. The tropical scenery isn't helping right now! I hope you have a great Christmas. I meant to call you before I left, but thank you for your gift! I love it! I've been tying my keys to my shoes so it couldn't have been more perfect.
Merry Christmas.
