Anna reminds me of my brother Dale, she loves pulling faces when she knows I am taking a photo.
Sweet as can be.
Oh she looks old.
Anna was sick this week and stayed home from school 3 days. She was so nervous to go back to school after being off, so I laid with her in bed as she cried and told me all her worries in the world. She is such a softy she breaks my heart. So after telling her I would go in with her in the morning and telling her that she will never have to take ski lessons again, because of some asshole who taught her last year that was a total jerk and took her through trees when she was scared to death and yelled at her.
So I brought all this up because of the following that Anna wrote for school, she was to write about something that was not her fault.
"This is a story when it was not my fault. It all started when I was four. Ok, I stole chap stick from my sister when she was one. She started to chase me and I jumped on to a chair. She fell off the chair and broke her arm. That is the story when it was not my fault."
I have been kind of heart broken that she has to explain that it wasn't her fault. Neither Tony or I have ever heard this story from her. Livy fell off the back of a big chair she was sitting on with Anna when she fell. I picked her up but she wanted to be put down that is when I saw Livy's arm bend the wrong way at the elbow. Oh I freaked out, called my friend to come get Anna and I am sure was not consoling to Anna in anyway. Livy ended up having surgery and staying in the hospital for 2 days. It amazes me that she remembers it even though she was 4 and kills me to think that she had anything to do with it.
Oh, I love this girl and don't want her to ever get hurt physically or emotionally.....how does a Mom do that?

Oh Lar, that is the sweetest story. You can't teach a kid sensitivity like that. Such a sweetheart. Miss your kids. We'll see you in a couple weeks!
Bless bless bless xxx such a worrier but with that comes empathy, an invaluabe tool that when Anna can understand it will make her an even lovelier person to be around than she is now. Beautiful pics Lars, Anna looking all grown up but still as sweet as ever. Love as always Hayley xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Heart wrenching. The things kids deal with in their little minds. I've never seen anyone treat their little sister better than Anna. Even when I watched them for a week, I only saw love and concern from Anna towards Olivia. When Olivia didn't want to go to my bathroom alone, Anna would put away whatever she was doing to go with her. Total sweetness galore oozes from that girl.
