She is so sweet and smiling in almost every picture. The last game of the season was very heated with girls really shoving and slapping quite a bit. A girl on Anna's team was basically starting it all and she left the court crying numerous times she is really a poor sport and gets upset with the ref when he tells her she can't do what she was doing. Unfortunately she pissed off the other team so much that they started to get angry. This girl in the picture above that Anna was guarding was starting to shove towards the end of the game but sweet Anna just kept smiling and enjoying the game. She never even noticed that this girl may be intentionally pushing her. I love her innocence (if it continued I certainly wouldn't have stuck out my foot to trip the girl).
This is Anna's first year of basketball, the girls are all 3rd to 5th graders (8-10 years). Anna is one of the shortest on the team but she is starting to play really well.

Dang, she is cute! Love that she can just have fun. that is how it's supposed to be at that age!! Wish we could come watch her play! You gotta get some video. Jake's comment on the pics "Lar is the best mom".
Girls become bitches at such a young age. Glad to see Anna is above it.
Great pictures Lars. Love to see Anna playing sport, she looks so confident and good on her for taking the higher ground. Although like you there would have been a well placed foot in that little lady's path .... xxx
